A very rare 18th century English polychrome delft wall pocket, moulded in high relief with a female mask above scrolling foliage and a smaller satyr’s face below. Made around c.1760, this pocket is painted in a soft palette of yellow, green, manganese, and blue, typical of English polychrome tin-glazed ware of the mid-18th century.
