Contact Phil Thomas – Enquiry Form
To help Phil respond quickly, please include any details you already know: the type (for example porcelain or Delftware), approximate period (17th/18th century), size, budget and delivery location.
If you’re uncertain, that’s absolutely fine — a short note about what you’re looking for is enough to start the conversation.
Condition reports and additional photographs are available on request, and Phil can talk you through restoration, historic wear and what is considered typical for early ceramics.
Shipping can usually be arranged within the UK and internationally; please contact Phil with your postcode or country for options and costs.
Contact Phil Thomas – Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly will you reply?
Phil aims to respond as soon as possible. If you’re enquiring about a specific piece, selecting it in the dropdown ensures your message is matched to the correct item immediately.
Can I request a condition report before buying?
Yes. Condition reports are available for all items. Phil can also provide close-up photographs of rims, bases, marks, and any areas of restoration or historic wear, so you can make an informed decision.
Do you ship internationally?
UK shipping is available, and international shipping can often be arranged. Please include your location when you contact Phil so he can advise on delivery options, costs and timings.
What if the category I want is sold out?
Some categories sell out temporarily. You can check latest arrivals and you’re welcome to contact Phil with a “wanted” request (for example a particular form, workshop, or period).
New examples are added regularly as stock is acquired.
What should I include in my message?
The most helpful details are: the piece name (or link), your questions (condition, provenance, payment, shipping), and any deadline.
If you’re new to collecting, the Guide to Antique Ceramics is a useful starting point and Phil is always happy to advise.
